Essence of the job
Conduct daily preparation analysis of various financial metrics to help clients set the price or value of their funds. Mainly involved in NAV calculations, fund reporting, payments management, and management and performance fee calculations.

Conduct daily preparation analysis of various financial metrics to help clients set the price or value of their funds. Mainly involved in NAV calculations, fund reporting, payments management, and management and performance fee calculations.
Deliverables:
- Daily processing of investment transactions.
- Processing non-trade-related (cash movements, etc.) transactions.
- Preparing books of account by compiling accounting records from independent sources, including accrual management.
- Reconciling account statements and balances.
- Pricing the portfolio.
- Calculating income and expense accruals and fees and calculating the Net Asset Value of shares. Manual or automated trade uploading and position checking with broker statements, reviewing securities, All required reconciliations (daily position, daily cash, operational cash account, price), interest reviews (loans and bonds), system updating (posting lock dates, prices), archiving, and payment management
- Computation of income and expense accruals.
- Management and performance fee calculation, either manual or system-generated, including related accounting and system updating
- Preparing end-to-end financial statements tailored to client requirements, including statements of assets and liabilities, operations and changes in net assets, and internal and external approval process management
- Liaison with external auditors.
- Correspondence with banks and custodians.
- Creation of fund reporting, including capital account statements and approval management
- Valuation price availability management from internal and external sources
- Valuation portfolio reconciliation (position, price, market value) in Paxus and review with broker statement
- Fund set-up in systems includes the collection of fund specifics from PPM or other sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 6 months of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial statement preparation and review (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Knowledge in funds/investment products, instruments, and principles is a huge advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, charting, and pivot tables.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Hybrid work arrangement (2 days of work from home, 3 days on-site)
- Regular PH business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm) with flexibility to work EU hours
