Fund/ Investments Accountant (Open to fresh graduates)

Conduct daily preparation analysis of various financial metrics to help clients set the price or value of their funds. Mainly involved in NAV calculations, fund reporting, payments management, and management and performance fee calculations.
Deliverables:
- Responsible for calculating the net asset values of investment funds by processing daily.
- Accounting related functions to ensure funds prices are accurate.
- Reconciling positions and cash against reports of broker/ custodian
- Calculating management and performance fee
- Making payment instructions for the various funds and correspondences with the investment manager, shareholders, auditors, lawyers, and banks
- Calculating expense accruals and preparing (audited) financial statements
- Ensure that the Fund is compliant with the procedures, policies and controls that the activities of the fund are in line with prospectus.
- Review the fund activity and valuations to ensure accuracy of NAV and yield calculations.
- Ensure the fund books and records are reconciled and periodic reviews are completed.
- Setting up new funds or changes in the fund structure like liquidations or side pockets
- The main contact for the investment managers and other relevant parties such as Directors, Lawyers, Auditors, Banks, Brokers/ Custodians, and shareholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- A strong understanding of financial statement preparation and review (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Knowledge in funds/investment (e.g.: stocks, bonds, crypto) products, instruments, and principles is a huge advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, charting, and pivot tables.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Hybrid work arrangement (2 days of work from home, 3 days on-site)
- Regular PH business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm) with flexibility to work EU hours

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
