About the Role:
Remitly is looking for a highly organized and customer-centric HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, the HR Coordinator will be instrumental in maintaining accurate employee records, providing vital support for HR administrative tasks, and assisting with new hire onboarding. This includes preparing new hire paperwork, collecting pre-employment requirements, and ensuring their compliance with company policies and regulations. Furthermore, you’ll also be the first point of contact for our employees, making sure that all
HR-related questions and requests are resolved properly.
This role will be based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, and will report directly to the HR Specialist at Remitly PHL Operations Inc.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update employee records (201 files) with high accuracy and
confidentiality.
  • Assist in various HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to, preparing HR documents, updating databases, and processing HR-related requests.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing 201 files, ensuring thecollection of all required documentation, and rigorously monitoring compliance with pre-employment requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries related to HR processes and procedures. Provide support in resolving routine HR issues and escalate more complex matters to senior HR staff.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing office supplies.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s graduate with a Psychology, Human Resource Development, or other related course.
  • This role is open to recent graduates. Previous internship or work experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A high level of confidentiality.
  • A strong sense of urgency and sound judgment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges in a dynamic work environment.
  • Alignment with Remitly’s mission, vision, and cultural values.
  • Be amenable to work onsite in Mandaluyong.
