HR & General Affairs Supervisor

I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Supervise human resources and general administrative processes to ensure efficient operation of the HR & General Affairs Department.
B. Implement human resources programs, policies and strategies in manpower selection and recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and training.
C. Carry out background checks for potential employment candidates.
D. Prepare employment contracts and monitor its approval.
E. Implement wage and salary rates, company benefits such as health insurance coverage and other benefits related to the Social Security System (SSS), Phil HEALTH and Pag-IBIG Fund.
F. Manage the employee leave process for vacation, sick leaves, bereavement, if there are any, and other leaves mandated by law.
G. Handle workplace complains and conflicts.
H. Participate in strategic planning to improve employee relations.
I. Have dialogues with employees whenever necessary, i.e., relay or transmittal of instructions, feedback on jobs, and other matter.
J. Conduct training needs assessment and skills gap analysis to identify the necessary trainings the employee needs in order to maximize his potential and productivity; and to promote career growth.
K. Carry out research of in-house and off-site training options for employee.
L. Prepare required company and government mandated report related to human resources.
M. Ensure the monthly reports and remittances to SSS, Pag-IBIG Fund and Phil HEALTH of premiums, contributions and loans are done on a timely and regular basis.
N. Represent the company in various organizations concerning the improvement of employee-employer welfare program of the company and other community-related activities.
O. Maintain employee confidence and protect HR activities by keeping HR-related information confidential.
P. Ensure that General Affairs provides the logistical and administrative requirement of each department as to office supplies, sound and safe workplace; and conditioned transport service.
II. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Conduct and evaluate result of pre-employment applications
B. Assist in conducting orientation for new-hire employees.
C. Maintain and update employees 201 file.
D. Update training records of employees.
E. Review and evaluate violation of company rules and regulation and take necessary corrective measure and recommend disciplinary actions.
F. Update files and information as to new and latest DOLE rulings and advises on any changes to organizational structure and impart upon operations to all the different departments.
G. Take part in payroll review and assessment base on employee performance evaluations.
H. Process employee requests for official travel authority to attend meetings, trade conferences or seminars and trainings.
I. Manage of company events and social function.
III. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A. College Graduate preferably of Human Resources Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science or relevant field
B. Have at least three (3) years experience as a Generalist and two (2) years in supervisory level
C. With extensive knowledge in recruitment and selection, contract management, compensation, training and development, employee relations and benefit administration
D. Knowledgeable in different provisions of the Philippine Labor Law
E. Possess strong leadership skills and excellent people handling
F. Able to communicate clearly with employees, members of the HR & General Affairs management team, and in group presentations and meeting
G. Dependable and able to respond to management direction
H. Able to effectively read, interpret and analyze information, present numerical data and skillfully gather data
I. Well-versed in MS Word, Excel and Office Power Point
J. Good English communication skills both written and oral
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Education:
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Human resources functions: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Supervisory: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Philippine Labor Laws: 2 years (Preferred)
  • HRGA process: 2 years (Preferred)
Language:
  • English (Preferred)
