Job Summary
The HR Officer is responsible for managing and implementing human resource policies and processes that support the organization in achieving its mandate. This role entails handling all facets of HR management including recruitment and selection, onboarding, employee records maintenance, performance evaluation, training, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Officer also plays a critical role in fostering employee engagement and ensuring that the workforce is motivated, developed, and retained effectively.
Job Description:
Recruitment & Selection:
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the selection process.
  • Conduct reference checks, prepare offer letters, and prepare employment contracts.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires with orientation programs, documentation, and setup of necessary tools/resources.
Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR related inquiries, issues, and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, providing advice on the administration of administrative cases as required.
  • Promote a positive work culture and address any conflict resolution, including mediation between employees and officers or managers.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction.
  • Manage exit interviews, analyze turnover data, and recommend strategies for employee retention.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities such as team-building events, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, Christmas party etc.
Employee Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records for all employees, ensuring both hard copy and digital records are securely stored and easily accessible.
  • Regularly update job descriptions to reflect current roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Manage the leave record system, ensuring the accuracy of annual leave records and compliance with leave policies.
Training & Development:
  • Assist in coordinating employee training activities in alignment with the company and employee development strategy.
  • Ensure employees receive ongoing development opportunities to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the organization.
Performance Management:
  • Organize and facilitate probationary and annual performance evaluations for all AFC employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff in the performance appraisal process.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
  • Oversee the payroll process in collaboration with the accounting to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
  • With at least 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a similar role handling all HR functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 per month
