2. SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION

• Map business processes of select CSD service offerings in HQ and FOs and collect input and analyze trends in the industry.
• Ensure service performance reporting is maintained, accurate, and up to date.
• Work with business units and their service managers to specify and coordinate production of related data including interpretation and analysis of the data.
• Undertake detailed analysis of available information, including accurate forecasting and awareness raising of trends.
• Contribute to the development and use of management information to improve performance and planning, streamlining of processes.
• Understand and analyze relevant data and assist in developing innovative ideas for improvement.
• Assist in defining and agreeing on management reports, performance measures and customer information needs on CSD’s services.

3. PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT

• Duration: 11 weeks
• Timing: January 2025 onwards

4. LOCATION
ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines

5. EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Present a report comparing the different approaches taken by CSD functional teams to measure their service delivery and performance with recommendations, if any.

The intern will complete a comprehensive evaluation of CSD’s processes, including the relevant organizational policies, activities conducted in HQ/FO and identify areas of improvement, streamlining of processes.

6. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Postgraduate Degree in Business, Sustainability, or other relevant field.
• Intern must be enrolled at a school in one of the ADB member countries for the entire duration of the internship.

7. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior work experience is not essential.
• Some exposure in research and analysis desirable.
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Must be able to work independently yet collaboratively with both internal and external peers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and liaise with all levels and exhibit professional behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
