SUMMARY
Primarily responsible that SPT-Philippines’ has the right materials and supplies at the right time in house, including the Import/Export procedures and manage warehousing and inventory control activities. Supervise purchasing and warehousing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assures with timely planning that SPT Phil has on time adequate inventories of Supplies and materials for the company wide needs based on the forecasted production targets.
2. Receives purchase requisitions and sources, negotiates and endorse materials with vendors for qualification.
3. Monitors product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements
4. Ensure proper documentation is accurately processed, including transit documents and customs clearances in a timely manner.
5. Maintains courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.
6. Work closely with CDC, BOC, broker and forwarder relating to import/export
7. Prepares monthly report on operating supplies consumption and monthly inventory of supplies.
8. Responsible for resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
9. Reviews import/export documents
10. Coordinates with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
11. Monitors maintenance of office equipment like telephones, copier, facsimile machine, and shredder.
12. Communicates and coordinates with sites – SPT Asia, SPT CA, SPT Roth and SPT China regarding ordering, placing of P.O, follow up of delivery schedule and status of delivery.
13. Performs annual vendor rating of qualified suppliers in the AVL list.
14. Complies with company policies and regulations.
15. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2-3 yrs of experience
- College Graduate of any Courses
- Male or Female
