About the Role
As a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Engineering Team, playing a key role in shaping and building our product. You will work alongside a small team of extremely talented and experienced colleagues in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.


What you’ll do:

• Architect, Develop, and Deploy: Lead the full lifecycle of machine learning product development—from model design and coding to deployment and optimization—ensuring the creation of robust, scalable solutions that deliver impactful results.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand business needs, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to new ideas that drive continuous improvement.
• Enhance and Advance ML Models: Continuously improve ML models by fine-tuning algorithms, optimizing performance, and ensuring the models deliver precise and insightful results that exceed user expectations.
• Stay at the Cutting Edge: Engage actively with the AI research community and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies, exploring their potential applications to enhance our products.

What You Bring:

• 4+ months of hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs): You are familiar with the latest advancements, research developments, and practical applications in the field. Open-source contributions or published papers in this area are a major plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Python and SQL: Proven experience in building and optimizing complex systems.
• 2+ years of recent professional experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP): You have applied NLP in various projects and are comfortable working on real-world implementations.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills: You approach challenges with a structured mindset and are driven to find the best solutions.
• Ability to learn quickly: Eagerness and capability to swiftly adapt to new frameworks, languages, and concepts.
• Proven capacity to architect and implement complex systems: Experience working independently on end-to-end projects.
• Startup experience: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills: Able to clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contributions to open-source projects or research communities are a plus.
• Detail-oriented and goal-focused: You know what matters and what doesn’t.
• Researcher/Tinkerer nature: You are driven by curiosity and enjoy solving complex challenges.
• Independent thinker: You aren’t afraid to disagree with popular opinions and can back up your perspective with sound reasoning.
