Location/Division Specific Information
Our Medical Communications team works to improve patient health by supplying high-quality medical information services on behalf of our customers to patients, healthcare providers and stakeholders. We manage medical information inquiries, document adverse events and product complaints, support product launches and help customers set up successful medical communications operations in a complex, global environment.
  • Office Location: Seven/NEO Building, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines
  • Work Shift Schedule: Night Shift (US business hours)
  • Work Setting: Hybrid; 1 to 3 days a week on-site
  • Training Period: 2-4 weeks (1 to 3 days a week on-site)

Discover Impactful Work:
As a Medical Information Specialist, you'll conduct virtual patient visits via telephone or video call, from the First Office Visit (FOV) through to protocol-specific visits. May also provide technical and medical information or performs intake of adverse events.

A day in the Life:
  • Supports the recruitment and engagement of patients for the territory or across multiple territories and sites, using various methods.
  • Reviews and verifies medications and medical history of patients to select those who are potentially eligible for studies.
  • Completes relevant health forms and any study-specific questionnaires and uploads to the database.
  • Identifies, records, and triages adverse events according to organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintains and demonstrates advanced knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with internal and external client contacts (up to and including members of client management) to resolve complex inquiries.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for patients booked for first office visits. Schedules qualifying patients for onsite screening visits at the site. Serves as a liaison between patients and sites.
  • Provides thorough documentation of all interactions with patient and site through multiple platforms.

Keys to Success:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in any Life Science or Healthcare related field

Experience
  • New graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading and writing)
  • Proficient computer skills and capable of learning new software/hardware
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Good interpersonal, leadership, consultative skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
