Job Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionists to join our healthcare documentation team. This is a home-based position, allowing applicants to work from any part of the Philippines. In this role, you will transcribe medical recordings into accurate and comprehensive written documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Transcription: Accurately convert recorded medical dictations from healthcare professionals into written documents that are clear, complete, and error-free.
• Medical Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of medical terminology, abbreviations, and jargon to ensure precise transcription of clinical information.
• Editing: Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and formatting, ensuring all documents meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• File Management: Handle electronic files of transcribed documents, ensuring patient information is handled with confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communication: Collaborate with our quality department to clarify unclear dictations and seek additional information as needed for accurate transcription.
• Technology Utilization: Effectively use medical transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage transcriptions, troubleshooting basic issues as necessary.
• Time Management: Meet deadlines for transcription tasks, prioritizing workload to ensure timely delivery of documents while managing multiple requests efficiently.
• Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy policies regarding patient information, handling sensitive data with professionalism.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in medical transcription technology and best practices, participating in ongoing training to enhance your skills.
• Compliance: Ensure all transcription work meets medical and legal standards, including accuracy, completeness, and adherence to practice-specific guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Preferred certification in medical transcription (e.g., CMT, RMT).
• Proven experience in medical transcription or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent listening and typing skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in medical transcription software and EHR systems.
• Strong written communication skills, including grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards related to medical documentation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
