Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on Open Text technologies and SAP integration.
Proven experience in testing software applications in a localization or enterprise environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Open Text products, particularly Exstream and App Works.
Experience with SAP integration processes and document generation testing.
Proficient in Oracle Database management and SQL.
Knowledge of testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, etc.) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


How can you contribute to the team?


Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Open Text solutions, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are covered.
Collaborate with project teams to identify testing requirements and create detailed test cases based on specifications.
Quality Assurance Execution:
Perform manual and automated testing of Open Text applications, including Open Text Exstream, App Works, and their integration with SAP.
Execute regression, integration, and performance testing to validate system behavior across various environments.
Database Testing:
Conduct testing related to Oracle Database interactions, ensuring data integrity and performance for Open Text applications, including schema management and SQL validation.
Utilize thin client (SQLplus) to access relevant DB instances for testing purposes.
Integration Testing:
Test integrations between Open Text technologies and SAP (CS, Exstream, AW) to ensure seamless functionality and data flow
Validate document generation processes for SAP users, ensuring that ad-hoc documents can be generated accurately from predefined templates.
Automation and Tooling:

Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.

Utilize relevant QA tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and reporting.

Defect Management:

Log, track, and manage defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes.

Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback and insights on quality issues and potential improvements.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and testing processes.

Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
