Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and be proficient in using Microsoft Project to develop and manage project schedules. The specialist will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by effectively tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules: Create detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, outlining the sequence of activities, durations, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress: Track actual progress against the baseline schedule, identify any deviations, and analyze their impact on project completion.
Identify and mitigate risks: Proactively identify potential risks that could cause delays or cost overruns and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
Prepare EOT submissions: Compile and submit Extension of Time (EOT) claims when necessary, providing detailed evidence to support the request for additional time.
Communicate effectively: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on the project schedule and any potential issues.
Analyze project performance: Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
