Summary of duties and responsibilities :
The Purchasing Supervisor (Direct Materials) reports directly to Purchasing Manager. He or she is assigned to handle procurement of Raw Materials. Maintain positive and good relationships with suppliers. Ensures to provide needed Raw Materials to produce finished goods to satisfy our customer needs. Assists the Manager for all department concerns.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for procurement of Raw Materials.
a.) Resin and Adhesive
b.) Inks and Solvent
c.) Spout and Zip lock
d.) Boxes and Liner
2. Communicate with suppliers for quotations, lead time, confirmed orders and delivery commitments.
3. Raw material monthly aging report (Bonpack and Bonflex).
4. Provides a summary of Raw Materials and Finished Goods need to be billed to Bonflex.
5. Update and encode P.R and P.O to Quadrant system.
6. Request supplier document requirements. e.g. third-party testing and any other requirements based on the need or expectation either generally implied or obligatory.
7. Constant monitoring and answering of email and chats.
8. Monitor material expiration/ageing.
9. Conduct Supplier Evaluation.
10. Search and source potential suppliers.
Skills and Competencies:
1.Graduate of 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other Business related course. At least 3 years of work experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or in a similar position.
2.High Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
3. Pro-active, organized & efficient, willing to multi-task and able to work under minimum supervision.
4.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Highly competent in: Big Picture Thinking, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Planning & Organizing, and Responsibility & Accountability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
