Creative Cuisine Group is a group of restaurants owned and managed by the Dytian siblings, who are recognized professionals in the Philippine culinary industry, particularly in Cebu.
The business started in the year 1991 when Kaffee Alde bakeshop opened, and now we are expanding as we launched other brands and opened the franchise over Visayas and Mindanao.
We are a collective group of food brands and concepts such as Chika-an sa Cebu, Big Mao Foodlab, Brique, Creative Cuisine Catering Services, Big Daddy, Da In Korean Restaurant, Parola Seaview Restaurant, Sutukil by the Bay, Kubu Restaurant, Kaffee Alde and ETTAS.

Position: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CHEF FOR BAKERY
Qualifications:

Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking, Food Technology, or a related field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Strong understanding of baking techniques, particularly in creating pastries and cakes
Ability to create and develop new recipes, as well as improve existing ones
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations
Research and experimentation with new products and raw materials to enhance food quality and manage costs
Analytical skills to assess market trends, product performance, and operational efficiency
Willingness to train kitchen staff and ensure proper execution of recipes and standards
Ability to collaborate with the Back of House team, Training, and Operations officers
Strong documentation skills for accurately updating recipe files and records
Familiarity with product testing, including shelf-life testing and yield calculations
Creative approach to developing and presenting new products
Problem-solving skills for improving kitchen operations, equipment use, and cost management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop new recipes and improve existing ones based on customer preferences and market trends.
Research and present new ingredients or products to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Train kitchen staff to ensure proper recipe execution and consistent food quality.
Evaluate kitchen operations to identify efficiency improvements and propose cost-saving solutions.
Ensure food safety compliance across all bakery locations.
Monitor market trends and product performance to guide recipe improvements and cost-effective practices.
Collaborate with Training and Operations teams to train staff on new products.
Conduct product testing to document shelf life, yield, and costs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recipe files.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
