Position Overview
The Henry Hotel Butuan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. As the Resident Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of The Henry Hotel Butuan, ensuring that guest services, staff performance, and operational standards meet the highest quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate hotel staff, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.
• Manage guest relations, address inquiries, and resolve complaints to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry best practices.
• Implement and maintain effective training programs for staff development and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to maximize occupancy and enhance the hotel's reputation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
• Handle administrative duties, including reporting, performance reviews, and ensuring effective communication across all departments.
• Assist in planning and executing hotel events, promotions, and special programs to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hotel management, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of hospitality operations, customer service, and financial management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to perform at its best.
• Previous experience in a similar boutique or full-service hotel is preferred.
• Familiarity with Butuan City and the surrounding area is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
