Job description
  • As a Safety Officer, you are responsible for seeing to it that the Safety Program is strictly implemented in all of our client’s project sites.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Reports to the assigned project site on a daily basis and oversees safety compliance of workers for various scopes of work in the project site
  • Disciplines all suppliers and subcontractors by issuing site reminders, safety rules and regulations, notices of non-compliance (if any) and all other safety-related documentation
  • Leads the toolbox meeting for all workers in the project site every morning or prior to the start of the work shift in the project site
  • Assists the Project Manager in accomplishing work permits, gate passes, and other requirements to ensure successful entry of workers to the project site when there is no Project Coordinator assigned to the site
Key Success Indicators / Attributes:
  • Disciplined
  • Good work ethics
  • Must be able to work effectively with various members of the project team assigned to a site
Minimum Qualifications:
  • College graduate
  • 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • COSH and OSH, Safety Officer Level 3-4
  • NCII is a plus, but not required
  • Must have fit to work medical certificate
  • Can work from Monday to Saturday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
