JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Freight Sales and Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the freight department. You will be responsible for assisting with sales activities, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month

You will be responsible for assisting with sales activities, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, preparing sales presentations, and conducting market research.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their freight requirements and provide relevant information about available services.
- Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and contracts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain organized files and records related to sales activities, contracts, and customer accounts.
- Coordinate logistics for freight shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding freight transportation and documentation.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation and ensure timely submission to appropriate parties.
- Assist in maintaining compliance records and documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations, documentation, and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
