An exciting opportunity has arisen at Commodity Inspections at Taguig, Philippines for SALES & MARKETING OFFICER.
As a Sales & Marketing Officer, your main responsibility is for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a focus on business development in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.

Tasks and responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and target new business opportunities within key industries.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical) to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.

Marketing

• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote services and brand visibility.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Manage social media platforms and create content for digital marketing efforts.
• Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
• Monitor marketing metrics and generate reports to assess campaign effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management

• Maintain a CRM database to track leads, opportunities, and client communications.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide professional support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring compliance with the company’s terms and conditions.

Sectors & Business

• Certifications for key sectors like agri, food, tourism, textile, forestry, fisheries, sustainability and many others.
• Inspections for commodities and products like grains, oils, minerals, food and fruit products.
• Testing for commodities and products like grains, oils, food, water, etc..

Others

• Perform business to the highest standards of ethics
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned in relation to Sales and Marketing role.

Requirements

• Graduate of any four (4) year course
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales and Marketing position preferably in the TIC industry
• Experience with writing marketing/commercial texts
• Design experience and familiarity with digital (social media) marketing and Google Adwords would be advantageous
• Affinity with Agriculture and Food would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel frequently
