Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Elder Care you will be responsible for ensuring our finances run smoothly through daily accounting tasks, such as recording journal entries, performing financial reconciliations and administrative tasks that support Elder Care Homecare's mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, a strong attention to detail and be very familiar with the online version of Quickbooks. On a company wide level we hope you can help to support Elder Care Homecare’s growth, mission, and goals of Growing Stronger Together.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements
- Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct month-end and year-end closings
- Prepare documents for audits
- Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone
- Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Help to create and analyze budgets
- Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
- Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus but experience with Quick Books a requirement
- Good math skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills (spoken and written)
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA strongly preferred
Pay: Php1,000,000.00 - Php1,200,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
