Job Title: Service Desk Analyst
Position Summary:
The Service Desk Analyst’s primary role is to provide technical support for production-based applications and network systems, ensuring alignment with company business objectives. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing temporary workarounds, and designing permanent solutions to improve application and network availability.
Work Setup:
- Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week (Orient Square Building in Ortigas, Pasig)
- Shifting schedule
- Collaborate with the Support Team to gather information, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions efficiently.
- Perform effective root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
- Respond to and resolve end-user issues via email, phone, or escalation.
- Install and configure software applications and hardware solutions.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VDI, and VPN.
- Provide IT support for end-users, including setting up and supporting peripherals such as printers and scanners.
- Ensure proper documentation and create resolution summaries for the knowledge base.
- Take ownership of problems by collecting relevant environmental data.
- Communicate effectively with end-users and the IT Support Team.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
- 3+ years of recent experience in computer, server, and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take initiative.
- Knowledge of computer and server hardware.
- Availability to work in a 24x7x365 support environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) and Microsoft Office applications in a domain environment.
- Experience with anti-virus technologies and troubleshooting hardware issues for workstations, monitors, printers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with VMWare virtual desktops.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, meet deadlines, and multitask.
- Professional behavior, including punctuality, attendance, and responsiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret common technical reports and documentation.
