Social Media Manager (Philippines)
The Social Media Manager is responsible for growing the company’s social media presence, developing engaging content, managing campaigns, reviewing performance analytics, and collaborating with key stakeholders across the company to create consistent, on-brand content suited for the US market. You will report to the Operations Director, while working closely with the Community Manager on collaborating with the product, and customer support team to help the company meet its goals of product visibility, brand development, and user engagement across our social platforms.
Responsibilities:

Create, curate, and manage content across all social platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Craft compelling copy for posts, captions, and messages that resonate with the target audience.
Possess a solid understanding of visual design principles (e.g., color, typography, composition, video editing) even if not a designer.
Familiarity with content creation tools and video editing software (e.g., Adobe, Figma, AI tools).
Stay updated on social media trends, platform algorithms, and viral content to keep posts relevant and timely.
Engage with followers through comments and direct messages, fostering real-time interaction (Western working hours preferred).
Understand American culture, social norms, and trending topics to create authentic, culturally resonant content.
Monitor news, pop culture, and trending topics to maintain content relevance.
Demonstrate fluency in local slang and sensitivity to cultural nuances.
Analyze data from social platforms to evaluate content performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Report key metrics and insights to stakeholders, focusing on follower growth, engagement, and campaign performance.

Skills:

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience in the creative industries (gaming, social media, marketing, advertising, PR)
Writing & Editing: Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with an ability to create engaging content in line with brand voice.
Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of major platforms (Meta, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, Tik Tok) and their respective user bases.
Design Awareness: Ability to collaborate with designers and communicate effectively about visual content.
Data Analytics: Proficiency in tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Hub Spot for tracking performance and insights.
Adaptability: Ability to respond quickly to platform updates, trends, and shifts in social media conversations.
Timeliness: Strong awareness of current events to ensure posts remain appropriate and relevant.
