GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB:
Under the supervision of the Section Manager, the Section Lead controls and monitors production processes supervise the activities of Process Operator and Material Handlers and see to it that they perform their work efficiently. Implement the correct usage of raw materials, utilities, production supplies, and man-hours spent, including the strict enforcement of safety rules and regulations.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Section Head implements approved maintenance and calibration
program, work instructions, and guidelines that would ensure quality, safe, and trouble-free operations of
production equipment; formulate work instruction and guidelines for the operations, preventive maintenance,
calibration, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Parts Controller Activities
 Ensures that the above objectives are:
o Communicated to and properly executed by subordinates.
o Assessed and updated as needed.
 Prepares requisition of maintenance materials and supplies.
 Assures completed activities are acceptable to serviced section’s requirements.
 Participates in the prevention and control of his work center’s waste in supplies, energy, manpower, and
overhead costs.
 Completes inventory information and presents it to management for efficient decision making which may
involve restocking.
 Spare parts management and maintain an adequate minimum level of parts to ensure uninterrupted supply to
operate.
 Establish and control stocking levels for parts and equipment through a computerized inventory system
 Performs periodic cycle counts and conducts physical inventory audits
 Prepares purchase orders for purchases of parts and equipment
 Receives and unpacks parts by verifying accuracy of shipment from vendor, parts numbers, and quantities
 Receive, tag, stock, and disburse parts to technicians according to policy and procedure.
 Maintains cleanliness and organization of the stock room; performs routine housekeeping duties in the parts
room, shop and work area
 Maintains and keeps current Material Safety Data Sheets and SDS log
 Investigates and reconciles inventory reports
 Performs other duties as assigned
Implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) and Good Housekeeping/Manufacturing
Practices (5s and GMP)
 Strictly follows and ensures that policies and practices are understood and conformed:
o Integrated Management System (IMS)/ QHSSE Policy
o Housekeeping (5s, GMP)
o Safety (Use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), Familiarization of Safety Data Sheets (SDS or
MSDS), Compliance to Safety Signs/Warnings, Use of necessary Work Permits)
 Conduct orientation of new workers on plant safety programs, documented procedures, and work instructions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
 Attends safety meetings/toolbox meetings regularly.
 Conducts Aspect/Impact and Hazard/Risk assessment review with the department annually or as
needed/required.
 Conducts daily inspection of work area and reports to superior any observed safety issues/hazards, unsafe
act/s, and condition/s and recommends corrective and preventive action/s.
 Ensures enforcement and implementation of corrective, preventive, and improvement action plans in his
workplace.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
 Bachelor’s degree in any stream; engineering and technical knowledge would be an added advantage
 Has higher knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
 With good oral and written communication skills.
