Description & Requirements

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to help manage a non-prod enterprise fleet in the cloud.

Using existing automation tools, we will be building out a new cloud environment with a small team deploying approximately 38 SQL Clusters and assisting with data migrations.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

SQL Server database administration and tuning
Assist with other DBMS/OS management tasks.
Windows O.S. management and tuning
Disaster Recovery planning

What You Will Need:

Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new technology quickly
The ability to work in a team
Strong project management skills
Experience with larger databases
A detailed understanding of SQL Server and M.S. Windows. This includes backups, recovery and tuning
Shell scripting skills with Power Shell, Python, Bash, Perl or other scripting language
Command line skills

What Will Put You Ahead?

Familiarity with SQL Always on Availability Groups
Amazon Cloud Services experience
SQL or Cloud Certifications
AWS Aurora Postgres experience
