Sr. Information Security Analyst
We are seeking an Sr. Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst to become a key member of our international information security group. This job requires the ability to work nightshift and as part of a team that is responsible for the information security program across multiple affiliated companies, primarily in the United States, with subsidiaries outside USA. This role requires a solid understanding of various cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), EDR/XDR, different Operating systems, threat intel, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Monitor and manage information security systems i.e., Cylance PROTECT and Optics, MDM Intune, Rapid7 Insight IDR SIEM/FIM, Zero FOX, Microsoft Cloud App Secure, Proofpoint and other security tools.
• Monitor Security Alerts: Continuously monitor security tools and systems to identify suspicious activities and respond to potential threats in real-time.
• Analyze Security Incidents: Investigate alerts to determine if they are false positives or actual incidents and take appropriate action.
• Threat Intelligence: Collect and analyze data from various threat intelligence sources to anticipate and mitigate risks.
• Incident Response: Lead or support incident response efforts to mitigate the impact of security breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain incident reports, provide regular updates on ongoing investigations, and recommend improvements for future prevention.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to implement security best practices and improve overall security posture.
• Security Awareness: Assist in educating employees on security best practices and emerging threats.

The ideal candidate will posse skills in the following areas:

• Monitor and manage information security systems i.e., Cylance PROTECT and Optics, MDM Intune, Rapid7 Insight IDR SIEM/FIM, Zero FOX, Microsoft Cloud App Secure, Proofpoint and other security tools.
• Experience in Linux systems and/or Windows.
• Experience with software, websites, mobile apps, and network

Position Requirements:

• Technical bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) are preferred, Comp TIA Security+ one or more of these certifications are preferable.
• 3 – 5-years’ experience within information security field.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in writing and reading English
• Detail oriented and ability to focus on deep level of security issues
• Ability to work well on a collaborative team and influence others without authoritative directives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a technical field
• Experience in Computer Software and/or Financial Institution operations and environment.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISM), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISA), or PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA).
• Two to three years’ project management experience is highly desired; PM certification is a plus.
