- Responsible for the efficiency of dispatch of delivery trucks. Supervises the dispatchers and manages load and route planning on a regular basis.
- Formulates programs and strategies to improve customer experience in deliveries. Develop protocols to ensure minimal delivery errors and prevent financial losses.
- Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
- Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them. Maintains an acceptable range of outbound freight cost.
- Working with other departments in the organization to implement logistical improvements
- Ensures that all drivers and helpers adhere to company’s rules and regulations. Reports incidents of non-compliance and any other violations of employees under the logistics section.
- Checks accuracy of customer order returns versus actual issued Credit Memo.
- Ensures proper maintenance of delivery units, monitors PM schedule and repairs.
- Reviews reports submitted by dispatcher, shipping officer, and GPS tracker. Provides improvement and corrective action on issues that may arise in the process.
1. Bachelor’s degree in any business related course;
2. At least 2 years of experience in dispatching
3. Computer literate and knowledgeable on MS office.
4. Highly organized and detailed oriented.
5. Devoted to his work, trustworthy and is willing to learn and contribute to the growth of an organization.
6. Knowledge in using GPS
7. Flexible to any work given.
