What You’ll Do –
The Talent Acquisition Specialist I (TAS I) is responsible for the hiring process at a Service Delivery Center. He/she works closely with the site TA team to coordinate recruiting efforts as needed. Works to ensure hiring goals are met by providing a professional hiring experience to candidates. This may include assistance in completing reference checks, background checks, drug tests, screening resumes and applications scheduling onsite interviews, and completing the onboarding process for each hire. While TAS I function as part of the Talent Acquisition team, he/she is responsible for aggressive individual recruiting goals which are monitored constantly. TAS I must be able to quickly adapt plans and shift directions to meet changing client requirements.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Assist with Taleo data entry (assessment scores, decline candidates, send assessment e-mails and other correspondence).
- Learn key business objectives, timeframes, legal issues, and requirements associated with each client. Understand the requirements for each client while strictly adhering to TTEC’s hiring policies.
- Ensures that the candidate meets all legal requirements, participates in all required assessments and that all information is accurately documented within Taleo and in paper or digital files when appropriate. • Help with preparing reports for completion/signing bonus payouts.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of Talent Acquisition policies and procedures. Quickly learn TTEC’s talent acquisition policies and procedures for screening, interviewing, and processing candidates
- Responsible for high-volume hiring needs often requiring screening, interviewing, and processing of hundreds of candidates each week. This requires tremendous focus, organization, and efficiency.
- Sets strict schedules to make the most of their time. They must be able to determine general suitability for a role quickly and decide whether to engage the candidate in the full hiring process.

Responsible for the administration of the candidate process for all open associate positions including but not limited to:
- Greeting applicants,
- Receiving applications,
- Administering testing materials,
- Know and understand the Realistic Job Preview (RJP).
- Know of RJP usage in the hiring process.
- Ensure all candidates receive the RJP before an offer is extended.
- Provide administrative support to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, Talent Acquisition Manager, and other TA team members, as required.
- Updating Taleo profiles.
- Raise tickets for client log-ins
- Complete trackers related to the hiring.
- Send training roster.
- Keep an engaging atmosphere for trainees.
- Ensures that trainees will show on day
- Achieve 100% of assigned agent recruiting targets. Must meet hiring deliverables and back-office tasks associated with the ramping program with Level 1 requirements such as:
- Processes offboarding for Day 1 No Shows
- Supports the operational recruitment need for the associate internal transfers.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer service skills
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
- Creative thinking and innovation - constantly looking for opportunities to improve the current process and communicate their ideas to their TA Manager regularly.
- Influence & Persuasion - responsible for encouraging employees to recommend friends and colleagues for positions at TTEC.
- Friendly, helpful, positive demeanor, respectful, communication - Ensures a positive experience for every candidate. Maintain a positive, respectful, and caring attitude toward all candidates – even those that will not be offered a position at Tele Tech.
