Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record-Keeping:

• Maintain and record books of accounts in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Establish, update, and manage client financial records.
• Reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts related to VAT, EWT, and CWT.
• Archive and manage BIR forms and other documentary requirements (e.g., Alphalist, SLSP, Form 2307).

2. Tax Planning and Compliance:

• Organize and analyze clients’ financial information to support tax planning initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to minimize tax liabilities through strategic deductions and optimizations.
• Prepare annual income tax calculations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

3. Filing and Reporting:

• Prepare and file necessary tax forms and Alphalist in a timely manner.
• Handle BIR audits, including filing requirements and processing necessary documentation.
• Manage the processing of quarterly business permits.

4. Audit and Liaison:

• Assist with audits by gathering required financial information and coordinating with auditors.
• Liaise effectively with BIR, LGU, and other relevant government agencies to ensure compliance and resolve issues.

5. Continuous Improvement and Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., SAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
