Technical Manager

The Technical Manager oversees all machinery repairs and maintenance, expertise in split-type air conditioning systems and HVAC is an advantage. Key responsibilities include leading projects, training and supervising engineering staff, managing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with other departments. The role also involves handling major equipment repairs, process planning, feasibility studies, and ensuring efficient start-up of engineering equipment. Strong relationships with internal teams and external customers are essential, and experience as a Facilities Manager is a plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all repairs and maintenance of equipment to ensure efficient operation of company machinery
- Lead and support the implementation of new projects, including training new engineering staff
- Supervise engineering personnel in day-to-day activities
- Participate in long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects
- Handle major mechanical system repairs
- Prepare process plans for new parts, conduct time studies, and prepare quotations
- Determine necessary equipment through feasibility studies and provide justifications
- Supervise the installation and initial start-up of engineering equipment
- Modify processes to improve operational productivity
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments and external customers regarding equipment concerns
- With 2-3 years relevant experience preferably
- Expertise in managing machinery repairs and maintenance
- Strong leadership skills to train and supervise engineering staff
- Proficiency in handling major mechanical system repairs and preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge in split-type air conditioning systems and HVAC is an advantage
- Experience in Facilities Management is an advantage
Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
