Project Overview
This project offers an opportunity to join a combined team from a global strategy consulting firm and a leading bank in the Philippines.
The engagement is part of a large retail banking technology transformation program which includes the implementation of a new core banking solution. To support the project team, our client is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead the end-to-end test management for a large-scale implementation of branch banking systems.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful deployment of the Branch Teller System by developing and executing a comprehensive testing strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Philippines or broader Asia and possess expertise in testing automation, Agile methodologies, and non-functional testing.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in test management, particularly for large-scale implementations of branch banking systems
• Experience in testing Branch Teller Systems is a plus
• Must have experience in the Philippines market or Asia
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficient in testing automation and familiar with SDLC tools such as Karate, HP ALM, JIRA, and Microfocus
• Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies
• Experience in non-functional testing, including performance and availability testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy and plan for the Branch Teller System implementation, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and methodologies to be used
• Test Case Management: Oversee the creation of detailed test cases and scenarios that cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the Branch Teller Systems, ensuring thorough coverage
• Test Execution: Lead the execution of planned test cases, ensuring that all results are accurately recorded and analyzed. Monitor the testing process to ensure compliance with the strategy and plan
• Defect Management: Oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of defects and issues discovered during testing. Collaborate closely with the development and integration teams to resolve issues promptly
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive testing reports, including test results and defect analysis, to stakeholders. Regularly update project managers, IT teams, and business units on testing progress, risks, and outcomes
• Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with software and system integration vendors to align on testing requirements, issue resolution, and system specifications. Ensure that vendor deliverables meet the quality standards required for successful deployment

This will be an_ initial 6 month phase of work with options for further extensions._
The project is run in English and so there is no requirement for local language skills. The client is open to individuals already located in Manila or those keen to re-locate for this engagement . Visa solutions and sponsorship is available.

Pay: Up to Php22,000.00 per day
