Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and refine financial policies and strategies to support the company's growth and expansion plans.

Lead the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission to relevant stakeholders.

Direct comprehensive internal and external audit processes, ensuring full compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Oversee tax planning, compliance, audits, and any related financial obligations, ensuring adherence to regulations and timely fulfillment of liabilities.

Proactively monitor the company's financial performance, providing insights, analyses, and recommendations to ensure the achievement of financial goals.

Work closely with department heads to ensure efficient budget management and optimal allocation of financial resources across e-commerce and salon branches.

Lead risk management efforts by conducting financial analyses to identify potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of excellence, accuracy, and ethical financial practices.

Serve as a key senior management team member, providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.

Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation, particularly those affecting the beauty industry and e-commerce.
Finance manager for a fast-growing e-commerce business who will lead Finance and Accounting for Hair MNL.

Qualifications

5+ years of aggregate accounting and finance experience

At least 3 years in a supervisory position

Degree in accounting (CPA or CMA preferred)

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations

Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and month-end and year-end close processes

Excellent accounting software skills

Entrepreneurial / Start-up experience a plus

Knowledge of inventory management and control

Ability to work well under pressure, with very little supervision

Detail-oriented and a proactive problem-solver

Effective written and verbal communication skills
