As an Accounting Assistant at Likha, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial records, focusing on Accounts Payable. Your responsibilities will include:

Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping

Manage petty cash fund and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and transfer slips, both electronically and manually.

Monitor liquidation of cash advances within the required time frame.

Issue invoices and receipts accurately and on time.

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards.

Prepare and submit required documentation for Barangay Clearance, Mayor’s Permit, and Business License applications and renewals.

Assist with reportorial requirements for government agencies, excluding the BIR.

Audit Support

Assist in preparing and submitting detailed audit schedules for both internal and external audits.

Monitor legal and bank confirmation replies.

Records Management

Maintain organized filing of documents with complete attachments.

Reporting

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports for management.

Report any discrepancies, unaccounted funds, or advances to the immediate supervisor.

Other Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring the efficient management of Accounts Payable processes.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Preferably with 2+ years of accounting experience.

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Working knowledge of relevant tax regulations.

Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent organizational skills.
