Lead, EMEA Payroll

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead, EMEA Payroll to join our Global HRIS & Payroll team. Reporting to our Manager, Global Payroll, this role is Krakow, Poland (remote).
Your Day to Day:
- Oversee and direct day-to-day payroll procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of EMEA payroll.
- Maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency of payroll operations within EMEA region and in alignment with global standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations within EMEA region.
- Partner with other EMEA functional leads to ensure the accuracy of all payroll data including all aspects of record-keeping, withholding, reporting, reconciliation, and auditing.
- Work closely with external payroll vendors to maintain positive relationships to support ongoing collaboration.
- Provide training and mentoring to the EMEA operational payroll team.
- Ensure employee inquiries are promptly resolved within EMEA region.
- Review EMEA payroll reports and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate governmental authorities.
- Support payroll-related special projects, including payroll system implementations, process improvements and integration of new countries and entities.
- Execute EMEA operational controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the EMEA payroll team.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive payroll experience with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role overseeing EMEA payroll.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other similar international certification preferred.
