Emeren is a leading global solar project developer, owner, and operator with a pipeline of projects and IPP assets totalling over 3 GW, as well as a storage pipeline of over 10 GWh across Europe, North America, and Asia. The Company focuses on solar power project development, construction management and project financing services with local professional teams in more than 10 countries around the world.
Now there is the unique opportunity to join our team as Technical Analyst.
The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the expansion of our business by providing critical support in the planning, execution, and development of photovoltaic projects, ensuring that each phase aligns with our strategic goals and contributes to the overall success of our solar initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical support and lead pre-feasibility studies of the new projects: technical pre-studies (sizing), risk analysis, costing, etc.
• Assess land suitability for large-scale solar power plants, including conducting on-site inspections.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project farms to ensure compliance and feasibility.
• Draft technical and legal documentation required for project execution.
• Assist in preparing Key Investment Plans (KIP), environmental assessments, and building permits.
• Evaluate electricity network connections and energy distribution to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee environmental protocols and project design implementation.
• Formulate initial land development strategies to outline project scope.
• Compile reports, conduct analysis, and create presentations for investor review.
• Support in development efforts for greenfield, co-development and project acquisitions

Requirements

• Completion of a university degree (or final-year status) in fields such as Renewable Energy Systems (RES), spatial management, environment, energy, electrical engineering, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in utilizing software such as QGis, Arc Map, Auto CAD, or similar tools for spatial analysis and planning.
• Solid proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present and communicate analysis and data.
• Fundamental understanding of geodetic data, topographic, and resource maps (EGi B, GESUT, PRG, BDOT500).
• Prior experience in assessing large-scale PV projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical prowess and organizational abilities.
• Passionate about renewable energy sources.
• Knowledgeable about developments in the RES market across Europe.
• Possession of a valid category B driving license.
• Intermediate proficiency level in English (B2).
