About Us: We are a large laundry chain based in Doha, recognized for delivering high-quality laundry services across the city. Our head office manages all key operations and provides strategic support to our branches.
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team at the head office in Doha. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a fast-paced environment. This role will be crucial in maintaining our financial health and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide support for audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update the accounting system as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
