Role Overview:
The Architect Designer Engineer Grade A is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and development of building projects in Qatar. The role involves leading the architectural design process, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and innovative architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the development of conceptual and detailed architectural designs for various projects, including residential, commercial, and public buildings.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure designs are feasible, within budget, and align with the client’s vision.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and Grade A requirements in Qatar.
• Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles, focusing on energy efficiency, material selection, and environmental impact.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for construction teams.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the construction phase, ensuring that the execution aligns with the design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design,
• Licensing: Must be registered and certified as a Grade A Architect in Qatar.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up), and strong knowledge of building codes and construction processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in design and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale projects in Qatar or the GCC region.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s construction laws and sustainability initiatives.
