An Accommodation Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of accommodation arrangements for individuals or groups. This role often involves ensuring that accommodation meets specific needs, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities

• Accommodation Planning and Management:
• Assessing accommodation needs based on various factors such as group size, preferences, and budget.
• Researching and selecting suitable accommodation options, including hotels, apartments, hostels, or other facilities.
• Negotiating rates and terms with accommodation providers.
• Managing accommodation bookings and reservations.
• Ensuring that accommodation meets health and safety standards.
• Guest Services:
• Providing information and assistance to guests regarding accommodation options.
• Handling guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinating check-in and check-out procedures.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Maintaining accurate records of accommodation bookings and payments.
• Preparing and managing accommodation budgets.
• Compiling reports on accommodation usage and performance.
• Compliance and Regulations:
• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations related to accommodation.
• Conducting regular inspections of accommodation facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Has experience on same role as Camp Boss or similar field
• NOC is a must for local hire candidates. Overseas candidates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of local accommodation market and regulations of Qatar Law
• Proficiency in using computer software for booking and management purposes.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality industry or Hotel background (preferred).
