CONTROL SYSTEM (DCS, PLC) ENGINEER FOR OIL & GAS CLIENT, Qatar
FULL TIME & CONTRACT
October 13, 2024
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent, with hands-on experience in control systems such as DCS and PLC.
- Proficiency in software tools such as HYSYS, PIPENET, PIPEPHASE, FLARENET for process simulation and project management.
- Membership in a Chartered Professional Institute is advantageous.
- Fluent in written and oral English communication.
- SAP certification or working knowledge is mandatory.
- More than 10 years of experience in control systems engineering in industries such as gas processing plants, refineries, or similar hydrocarbon plants.
- Minimum of 6 years in a senior supervisory position or engineering capacity.
- In-depth experience in using computer simulations for process optimization.
- Familiarity with engineering standards and codes such as API, NFPA, ASME, BS/EN, and SHELL DEP.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
Contract length: 60 months
