We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in protection relays testing within electric distribution environments. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our electric distribution systems through comprehensive testing and analysis of protection relays.
Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive testing of protection relays in electric distribution systems.
• Analyzing test results to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to protection relays testing.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues.
• Providing technical expertise and support to ensure the optimal performance of electric distribution systems.
• Contributing to the development of testing procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices in protection relays testing.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• BE Holder in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in protection relays testing in electric distribution environments.
• Strong knowledge of protection relay principles, including ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Qatar Driving License is mandatory
• With immediate ability to join through transferable visa or NOC Graduation Certificates and previous experience certificate (s) must be available
• Comprehensive CV/resume is required
• Experience in KAHRAMAA Projects
• Proficiency in testing equipment and software used in protection relays testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Qatar Engineering license - MME/MMUP/UPDA
• Locally available in Qatar with valid QID
