Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and designing the interior of building and spaces. Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):

• Provide interior design support for completion and execution of design projects.
• Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
• Create design concepts and selecting materials, furnishings, and finishes. Develop layout plans to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate interior solutions with broader project requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Oversee installation, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.
• Choose materials, colors, furnishings, and finishes that fit the design vision and budget.
• Responsible for utilizing correct design standards, technical detailing, meeting operational &functional perspective.
• Develop detailed, attractive, appropriate and functional interior design solutions that meet project requirements.
• Produce 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients.
• Apply knowledge and skills to research and evaluate interior finish systems and FF&E in the development of interior design projects and specifications.
• Prepare construction documents, consisting of plans, elevations, details and specifications to illustrate non-structural and/or non-seismic partition layouts, power and communications locations, reflected ceiling plans and lighting designs, materials and finishes, and furniture layouts.
• Coordinate and collaboration with other design professionals who may be retained to provide consulting services, including but not limited to architects, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, and various specialty consultants.
• Follow up with the sub-consultant’s review / approved the necessary drawings / reports to obtain the client approval at all stage.
• Provide solutions to design problems and generating design alternatives.
• Carry out research, to make sure that projects are technically feasible
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.
• Required to coordinate the production of architectural renders for Design Documents.
• Collaborate with client to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
• Good knowledge for life safety codes “NFPA 101”.
• Ensure that the documents meet the municipal, company and client standards/ protocols.
• Provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Quality department requirements and Audits.
• Provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Business development & tenders management activities

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design/Architecture
• Minimum 10 years’ experience
• Preferred candidates with PMP qualification

Required Skills:

• Proficient in the use of applicable design software such as Revit, Auto CAD, 3Ds Max, Sketch Up, Photoshop, V-ray, Archicad, Artlantis, In Design, etc.
• Creative, artistic, adaptable, flexible and has a critical eye for details.
• Specialized in 3D visualization, creating Interior/Exterior Perspectives through 3D modeling and able to produce realistic architectural rendering work using 3Ds Max, V-ray & Atlantis.
• Good knowledge of Revit and BIM environment though not necessarily highly proficient.
