Network and Product Development Manager

We are looking for a Network and Product Development Manager (Qatarization) for a permanent role with a prestigious financial institution in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will proactively manage client relationships, assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, address client inquiries, and ensure smooth daily operations in line with established protocols.

- Support performance evaluations and preparation for due diligence visits related to sub-custodian network performance as per service level agreements.
- Attend client service meetings as a product specialist when necessary.
- Help build and maintain an effective sub-custodian network to meet clients' operational needs for global market services.
- Manage all requests from authorities related to custody, including regulatory reporting.
- Maintain a deep understanding of custody operational processes and systems.
- Strive for an operationally effective and cost-efficient agent/account network.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set in collaboration with the Principal Specialist of Product Development and Network Management.
- Help ensure the agent/account network operates efficiently and aligns with business goals.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance across all the clients network relationships.
- Contribute to the development of client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate on SLAs with third-party vendors.
- Ensure clients receive timely market updates and product information, including News Flashes.
- Ensure that global sub-custodians provide essential support for functions such as:
- Settlement and safekeeping across all markets
- Asset servicing and corporate governance
- Taxation
- Cash management
- Reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Technology; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in roles involving Global Custodians, Network Management, International Brokerage, or relationship management within international institutions.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within a highly regarded international bank.
- Proven success in managing business-to-business relationships with a strong emphasis on sales and client service.
- Direct experience in either the European or U.S. markets, or with an international institution based in the region.
