NETWORKING SENIOR TECHNICIAN FOR OIL & GAS CLIENT, Qatar
FULL TIME & CONTRACT

- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in networking systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, including but not limited to, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Certification in relevant networking technologies (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in networking systems maintenance and support, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technician role.
- Hands-on experience with networking equipment and tools, such as Cisco routers and switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in network design and implementation.
- Experience working in industrial or plant environments is an advantage
- Certification and trainings such as a valid Cisco, Fortinet certifications and trainings etc.
- Experience working with Nozomi and Fortinet components as well such as Fortigate Firewalls. Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
Contract length: 60 months
