Recruitment Specialist (Temporary)

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment processes to attract, select, and onboard high-quality candidates. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience. The Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in workforce planning, maintaining talent pipelines, and promoting the company’s brand as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Sourcing
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Screen and shortlist resumes to determine candidate fit with position requirements and organizational culture.
Candidate Selection and Interview Coordination
  • Conduct initial screening interviews via phone, video, or in person to assess candidates' qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist hiring managers with interview techniques and provide guidance on assessing candidates effectively.
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and facilitate decision-making processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and role requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment progress and challenges.
  • Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary expectations, and availability of skills.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by communicating effectively throughout the hiring process.
  • Promote the organization’s values, mission, and culture to attract top talent.
  • Develop and maintain an active social media presence to engage potential candidates.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and networking sessions.
Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of all candidates, interviews, and hiring outcomes in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Prepare recruitment metrics and reports, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
Onboarding Support
  • Coordinate with HR and relevant departments to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Assist in developing onboarding materials and facilitate orientation sessions as needed.
  • Conduct follow-ups with new hires during their first months to gather feedback on the hiring and onboarding experience.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on recruitment best practices and industry trends to enhance the hiring process.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing and recruitment methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and resolve challenges in the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and interview methods.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and recruitment metrics.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
