Overview: Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
• Define the scope and objectives of testing activities, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are covered.
• Identify testing tools and technologies to be used in the project and ensure their effective implementation.
• Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, support and mentorship.
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project requirements.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough testing of software applications.
• Monitor and track testing progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure that defects are logged, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, including test plans, test cases and test results.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and risks.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of testing best practices.
• Work closely with business, IT and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any concerns.
• Facilitate communication between testing teams and other project teams to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications:

• English is the program language (oral & written), Spanish is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Experience with various testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.).
• Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA) and test automation frameworks.
• Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution and monitoring.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and determine their root causes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve testing-related challenges.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
