Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fire and life safety strategies for construction projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses related to fire safety.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure compliance with fire and life safety codes and standards.
• Review and approve fire safety plans, including evacuation routes and emergency procedures.
• Perform inspections of fire protection systems and safety equipment.
• Provide training and guidance on fire safety procedures to project teams and workers.
• Coordinate with local fire authorities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage documentation related to fire safety inspections and audits.
• Respond to fire incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety engineering in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience in conducting fire risk assessments and audits.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with relevant fire safety software and tools.
• Professional certification in fire safety engineering is a plus.
