Qiddiya Investment Company, a leader in the entertainment and leisure industry in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a strategic and visionary individual to fill the role of Head of Development. In this high-level position, you will be responsible for steering the overall development strategy, ensuring the successful implementation of various projects that align with our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Your role will involve close collaboration with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality development projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate development, combined with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating transformative and sustainable communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive development strategy to meet Qiddiya's long-term objectives and vision.
• Lead the planning, design, and construction phases for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough market analysis and feasibility studies to identify trends and opportunities for new developments.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, consultants, contractors, and community partners.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the development team, encouraging professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Present project updates and strategic recommendations to senior management and board members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 25+ years of relevant experience in real estate development, with a substantial portion in leadership roles.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects from inception to completion.
• Strong strategic vision and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high-performance teams.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, zoning laws, and market dynamics within the real estate sector.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience in the Middle East market is highly desirable.
