Job Position: Account Assistant
Key duties and responsibilities

Job Position: Account Assistant
Key duties and responsibilities
- Assist in AR & AP accounting duties
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, recording bank documentations and filing of documents
- Generate monthly reports detailing accounts receivable status and end of period account closing activities, sending bill reminders & contacting customers on due invoices if any
- Ensured that all vendor invoices are processed on a timely basis
- Generate monthly reports detailing accounts payable status and end of period account closing activities
- Ensure continuous improvement of processes
- Attention to detail and communication abilities
- Basic phone calls, emails manners required All other duties as assigned.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Certificate in Nitec/Diploma in Accounting or other relevant certificate
- PC literate with Microsoft Excel and Xero accounting software
- Basic accounting principles and key finance terms
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work both independently and / or within a team environment
