Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Account Handler provide essential support to/ under the supervision of/ taking instructions from the Marine Insurance Account Managers. Assist with preparation of documentation, filing and data processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mainly but not limited to:
Preparations of relevant documentations such as quotations / placement slips, schedules and calculations, cover notes, endorsements , addenda to cover notes, closing slips, draft policies, debit and credit notes
Submitting relevant documentation to the Broking / Support Staff to ensure that required documents are sent to insurers and clients without mistakes
Monitoring respective clients' statement of accounts regularly, inputting of Marine Insurance underwriting data, filing (recording and monitoring of documents and relevant updating), administer file storage and retrieval process
Process, coordinate, sort and distribute incoming correspondence for Marine Insurance business
Provide backup support for staff who are away from office within the department
Ad hoc administrative duties as required/assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Diploma and/or Degree holders
Candidates with relevant working experience in insurance broking company will have an added advantage.
Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply
SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Organised, detailed and deadline oriented
Meticulous and willing to learn
