Meranti Power Pte Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is establishing a multi-discipline project team and corporate team to facilitate and ensure timely implementation of power generating station projects and thereafter, operation and maintenance of the power generating station. We are inviting applicants for the position of Finance Executive who shall report to the Senior Manager (Finance). The scope and requirements are as follows:

Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of full sets of accounts and day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company transactions, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, inventory balances, bank transactions, general ledger maintenance and proper filing of supporting documents.
- Perform month end closing and ensure all journals, AP, AR are closed promptly.
- Ensure that all accounting records are complete, kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
- Preparation and process payments to suppliers and stakeholders.
- Preparation of billing and collections are completely, accurately and timely recorded.
- Prepare GL supporting schedules, bank reconciliation and support preparation of cash flow projection.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to IRAS
- Liaise with external auditor, internal auditor and tax agent.
- Assist in financial reporting, audit processes, forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Support the drafting and implementation of new policies & procedures. Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA certification will be advantageous.
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player and good business partner.
- Possess initiative and able to organise and prioritise work.
- Experience in SAP and Oracle Netsuite will be advantageous.

Willing to work in construction site office during construction stage and Jurong Island. (
Morning transportation pick-up points available at different parts of Singapore.)
