Operation Manager/Assistant Operation Manager

- Overall in charge for production, including product quality, equipment, supply chain, manpower and factory safety

Work closely with
- Product / Design Engineer to provide critical input in product development and ensure manufacturability and serviceability of products
- Sales on forecast and translate that into production plan
- Supply Chain to ensure availability of components and raw materials
- Product quality to ensure the high quality of products according to certain quality standards
- Manage suppliers, select, order and purchase materials
- Responsible for raw materials sourcing, managing subcontractors and cost control
- Determine quality control standards, ensure finished goods satisfy quality assurance
- Organise the repair and routine maintenance schedule of products
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and production process control activities
- Provide engineering expertise to support the production floor with the aim of improving KPIs
- Meeting and liaising with vendors and sub-contractors for project executions
- Oversee production operations for its equipment - installation, modification, upgrading and maintenance
- Review and approve any protocols or reports relating to qualification during process and tech transfers
- Liaise with client for product servicing and maintenance scheduling, attend client for product related sales enquiries
- Implement production improvement projects including yield, quality and productivity improvement
- Organising the team, documentation and filing
- Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience
- Prior experience in Production/Operation
- Project management skills
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
