Job Description

• Manage assigned projects on NUS campuses (planning, design development, procurement, contracts administration, site supervision, liaison with various stakeholders, testing and commissioning, management of project account and defect liability issues.)
• Ensure that projects complete within schedule, approved budget, and is properly handed back to the NUS user and over to the maintenance team at Asset Enhancement section, CAM.
• Work closely with the consultants and ensure that projects comply with authorities’ requirements, NUS's policies and guidelines.
• Provide progress updates on assigned projects for routine/ ad-hoc management reporting.
• Assist in any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A good bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from a recognized University, preferably in area of Architecture/ Engineering/Construction Management/ Quantity Surveyor and preferably registrable with the Board of Architectures (BOA), Singapore, Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore and/or Singapore Institute of Surveyor and Valuers respectively.
• 20 years of relevant working experience in construction project coordination, contract administration, project management and defects management.
• Past experience in consultancy services will also be considered.
• Experience in handling building development or Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects
• Knowledge in local regulations; working knowledge of the authorities’ submission requirements
• Resourceful with excellent communication skills
• A team leader with a positive attitude and drive.
